Jacqueline has spent most of her 30 plus years’ career managing branding and communications projects for European and global clients in a wide range of industries and types of organisation.
A linguist and biologist by training – she holds a BA (Hons) in Interpreting & Translating from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, an MA in Language Technologies from Geneva University, and a BSc (Hons) in Life Sciences from The Open University – Jacqueline has held senior executive positions in Switzerland, most recently as Head of Rxmark, Interbrand Health’s analytics and research division, where she was responsible for managing global qualitative and quantitative market research among healthcare professionals and consumers.
Jacqueline was previously a director of an international non-governmental organisation in the field of education, business development manager for a linguistic services company, and ISO technical assistance and training manager in quality, food safety and environmental management systems.
Jacqueline is CEO of Omega Insights, where she leads global branding and regulatory consulting projects for major pharma and biotech companies.
Philip has spent the whole of his 30 plus years’ career in pharmaceutical marketing and branding. A scientist by training – he holds a Master’s degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University – Philip has held senior executive positions both in the UK and internationally, most recently as Senior Vice-President Marketing with Novartis Consumer Health, where he was responsible for global brand development.
Philip’s consulting career began in 2001, when he was appointed head of the European healthcare practice of the global brand consultancy, Interbrand. In this role he lead dozens of projects for major pharma and biotech companies, encompassing brand strategy and positioning, brand research as well as brand name and visual identity development.
At Omega Insights, Philip continues to lead major branding projects for key clients including Novartis, Bayer and Boehringer Ingelheim as well as managing agency client relations for all 3D animation projects in his capacity as Vice-President Scientific Communications for Enlight Science.
Following an international career of 25 years with blue chip pharma companies, including Glaxo, Rhone Poulenc and Ciba–Geigy (Novartis), where he served in general management, sales, marketing and business development roles at local, regional and headquarters levels, Richard moved into a second career in International Executive Search and consulting in 1996.
Although he has worked in OTC, Generics, and Animal Health sectors of the industry, his main experience has been in the Rx sector before extending to medical devices, diagnostics and biotechnology in an Executive and NED Search Capacity.
During his International Consulting Career over the last 15 years he has led global and regional teams and personally worked on senior management search assignments including numerous C level roles and board positions including Chairman and NED roles. He has worked for the largest pharma, diagnostics and medtech corporates as well as early stage biotech companies and enterprises at various stages in between.
He spent 3 years (2001-4) leading a Life Science Consulting Practice based in Australia where he assisted companies with fund raising, business development, board composition and governance.
